MacOS El Capitan Mac 10.11.6 The twelfth version of Mac OS X appeared in 2015. MacOS El Capitan is the successor to Yosemite with improvements to its functions and graphical performance. Mac OSX El Capitan 10.11.1 is a worthy upgrade from Mac OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite. So glad Apple fixed the bug with Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac! After and initial install process, the computer was slow for about 5 minutes due to optimizing but after a reboot everything was well. Nice and snappy. I've download and update El Capitan 10.11.6 via App Store and when restart it stuck at white screen with apple logo. I've performed PRAM. Try to reinstall OS X via recovery start up but it says 'couldn't find installation information for this machine'.
